Children of mothers with PCOS were found to be at higher risk of developing ADHD and autism than other children, according to the study.
Clinical Note: Keep in mind, PCOS is driven by hyperinsulinemia (spikes in insulin) which is why it's often treated with Metformin (diabetic drug). Manage the carbohydrates and you begin to manage the PCOS.
