Goji Smoothie for Eye Health

Goji berries, from the fruit of Lycium barbarum, are an ancient medicinal food used traditionally to build blood and improve vitality. They are also noted for their benefits to the eyes, especially dry eyes or red eyes. These berries can be snacked on by themselves but, since they are potent, not much is needed. Also, adding these to any hot tea will give flavor and health benefits.

Ingredients:

  • goji berries

  • cucumber

  • apple

  • unsweetened almond milk

  • cinnamon

  • 2 scoops Cleanse (protein plus metabolic detox) 2 scoops Nourish (protein plus power nutrients)

Blend and enjoy!


The best way to take the Nourish/Cleanse shake mix is by adding it to water without any additional ingredients. Shake recipes are an option for those needing more variety however, the less ingredients added the better.
