Adrenal Gland Hypofunction

Addison's Disease is a pathology of the adrenal glands in which they under-produce steroid hormones. This is not the same as "adrenal fatigue" which is layman's term for exhaustion by over exertion. John F. Kennedy was known for having Addison's Disease.
The cause of Addison's Disease is often immunologic and sometimes iatrogenic (caused by medical treatment using involving drugs).
Signs and Symptoms:
