Dr. Cassone began his career over thirty years ago using lifestyle modifications and nutritional therapies with the goal of reducing chronic illness and ultimately improving the quality of life for those he serves. He holds a master's degree in clinical nutrition, a Ph.D. in clinical nutrition, a second master's degree in clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, and acupuncture, and a second doctorate in integrative medicine (DAOM). He has the highest level of education available in the field of Functional Medicine and has effectively treated patients from all over the world. Dr. Cassone is a board certified licensed Primary Care provider in the state of California, is licensed to practice in Tennessee, and is nationally certified (NCCAOM). He also teaches seminars to licensed providers, is a Professor of Clinical Nutrition at South Baylo University, has a black belt in Krav Maga, and has published three books.

25 years ago Kelly owned and operated Skin Wellness Center. Her staff included Registered Nurses, Licensed Massage Therapists, Medical Estheticians, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Her knowledge of clinic operations and patient care makes it possible for a patient-centered practice. 

As Clinical Director, Kelly is the liaison between the providers and the patients and oversees all care. She monitors treatment plans, answers questions, and provides coaching through the lifestyle changes that are sometimes needed during holistic care. Although she no longer is treating patients in the treatment room, she offers telemedicine skincare consultations by appointment. Kelly is also the main educator for our skincare team.

After years of sitting behind a desk stressed out, he accrued his own array of physical and emotional ailments, which became the catalyst for traveling abroad in search of a healthier lifestyle. Although deeply enriching, it left him even more sick and tired. He then turned to Dr. Cassone as a patient and, through his own healing, found a deep level of meaning and purpose in Holistic Medicine. He has since committed himself to the study and practice of Holistic Medicine with the goal of offering patients lasting relief.

John Finnell is a board licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California, and carries a National Certification in Oriental Medicine. He graduated with honors from South Baylo University with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has received two distinguished Clinical Awards for outstanding patient care and three Academic Awards for outstanding academic achievement.

Dr. Kalena M. Yost, DACM graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2007 with her masters in Traditional Eastern Medicine and went on to receive her Doctorate in acupuncture and herbal medicine in 2018. Dr. Kalena is in her fourth year of practice and began her journey when she lost her mother too young from the harsh interventions that western medicine administered when she found out she had cancer. Dr. Kalena is passionate about helping others using Eastern medicine to not only survive with serious health conditions but more importantly thrive and find the best overall quality of life to enrich their lives.

Rebekah has managed the herbal pharmacy since 2021. She has high attention to detail for organization and ensures that customized formulas are made correctly for each patient. The prescriptions come from the medical team to the Clinical Director and then to Rebekah for production. She double-checks for accuracy and proper labeling before getting herbs into the lobby on time and shipped to our patients around the country. She has become an invaluable part of the Cassone Wellness team. 

Stephanie has been practicing skincare for almost 20 years and has experience in several advanced modalities of skincare and waxing. Dermaplane Pro Certified. She loves helping patients by customizing treatments to fit their specific skincare needs. Being in the beauty industry since she was 17 has given her the ability to truly look at the big picture when it comes to skincare and customized treatments.
