Urinating at night occurs when the blood vessels are inflamed. Normally sleep is the priority but when the vessels are inflamed they become the priority and the body wakes up to urinate as a way to flush out the cause of the inflammation.
Causes of Blood Vessel Inflammation:
➤ carbohydrate intolerance (sugars)
➤ medications
➤ alcohol/recreational drugs
➤ eating late at night
➤ exposure to spike protein from COVID
If the inflammation level is high then nighttime urination will occur multiple times during the night and may result in cramping of the calf muscles or feet (due to dehydration from the flushing and urinating which also disrupts electrolytes).
Advanced Related Pathologies:
➤ UTIs
➤ kidney stones
➤ high blood pressue
➤ tinnitus
➤ gout
➤ interstitial cystitis
Nighttime urination with men after 50 can also occur with an enlarged prostate.
